Not sure who reads this, but you may want to know that Devon Leigh Smith has stolen hundreds of clothing items and thousands of dollars from other moms. She recently closed her store and asked the consignors to come pick up their things. More then a dozen moms on a local message board went to pick up their unsold items only to realize they couldn't find most of their things. There is an online inventory system we use to keep track of what has been sold and what should still be there. As for myself - I am missing over 50 items. AND - a few of the items I did find had my tag torn off and were re-tagged with Devon's own consignor number (I know they were mine because of my son's name written on the clothing tags). Devon Leigh Smith promised to update the inventory system within a few days of closing the store and she still has not (it has been almost 1 month). She has been contacted numerous times by many people and she still has not done anything. What kind of mother steals from other mothers. What kind of person steals and lies?
ReplyDeleteWell there is a lot you haven't posted. First of all a lot of consignors haven't been paid from last year after their first sale. Don't worry about getting any money cuz there is none!!! She and her husband have taken everything out of the business that they can and now it is closed and she will NEVER pay anyone. I know consignors who brought in their things only to have her aunt take them and resell them in San Diego! She is a thief and a PATHOLOGICAL liar. She has told soooooooooooo many lies that she believes them herself. She has plenty of money to take care of herself; mani/pedi, trips, tatoos, house in Redondo Beach; but no money to pay any of us who really need the money! What a piece of work; I think we should ALL get together and hold her accountable! Like you said: WHAT KIND OF A MOTHER STEALS FROM OTHER MOMS!! She even took new consignors knowing she was closing that is a scam!!!
